Start with where you drive most. For town and good tarmac roads a Dualis or a 2WD X-Trail is often enough. For rough murram roads upcountry, national park trips or the heavy rainy season, a 4WD X-Trail or Nissan Patrol gives you the ground clearance and traction you need.
