Custom Japan Import
Don't Have the Car You Desire? We'll Import It From Japan
Not every dream Toyota is on the yard today. Tell us the exact model you are looking for and our Japan sourcing desk will find it at auction, verify it, and bring it to Uganda for you.
- Step 01
Tell Us What You Want
Send us the model, year, grade, colour, mileage and budget. Prado, Land Cruiser, Harrier, Premio, Fielder or a rare trim — one message is enough to start the search.
- Step 02
We Find and Verify It
Our Japan desk checks live auction listings, reviews the original auction sheet and shares the grade, condition and mileage with you before we place a bid.
- Step 03
We Ship It to Uganda
Shipping, UNBS inspection, transit clearance, URA duty and registration are handled end to end. Collect from Kampala, or ask us to arrange delivery across Uganda.
Built for Local Roads
What Makes Toyota Last on Uganda Roads
Toyota is the most common brand on Uganda roads for a simple reason. The cars keep running and they are cheap to fix.
High Ground Clearance
The Prado and Fortuner sit high off the ground. Potholes and wet murram roads cause less damage underneath.
4WD That Finds Grip
The 4WD system moves power to the wheels that are not slipping. This helps on muddy roads and hills in the west and east of the country.
Long Trips
Large fuel tanks mean fewer stops on the road to Gulu, Arua or Mbarara.
Toyota Safety Sense
Newer models can warn you when you leave your lane and brake on their own if a crash is close.
Cabin Comfort
Good seats and strong air conditioning make long hours in traffic easier.
Spare Parts Everywhere
Toyota parts are sold in Kisekka Market and in most upcountry towns. Almost every mechanic has worked on a Toyota before.
Features differ by model, year and grade. Ask our Kampala team to confirm exact specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Toyota Questions from Uganda Buyers
Answers to what customers ask us most.
It depends on model, year, mileage and taxes. The Vitz and Passo cost the least. The Premio, Allion and Fielder are in the middle. The Harrier and RAV4 cost more and the Prado costs the most. Taxes can add a big amount to the car price so always ask for a quote that includes them.
Read the Japanese auction sheet first. It gives a grade, the mileage and marks for any damage. Check that the chassis number on the car matches the papers. Look underneath for rust and oil leaks. Drive it and listen to the engine and suspension. A mechanic can also scan the computer for stored faults.
Families buy the Premio and Allion because they use little fuel. The Harrier and RAV4 are common SUVs. The Prado is used for rough roads and long trips. Big families like the Noah and Voxy. Businesses use the Hilux and Probox.
The current limit is 15 years from the year of manufacture. A plan to cut it to 13 years came up in 2026 and was withdrawn. Older cars can also pay an environmental levy. Ask us to check the year before you pay.
Transfers go through the Uganda Revenue Authority. You usually need the original logbook and a signed transfer form. Buyer and seller each need a national ID and a TIN. Bring a signed sale agreement and the receipt for the transfer fee. For cars we import we prepare the clearing papers for you.
Yes. A bank asset finance loan lets you pay a deposit and then monthly amounts. Some SACCOs give car loans to members at lower interest. You can also pay in full by bank transfer. Compare the interest rate, the deposit and the loan period before you sign.
