For most buyers it is the NX or the RX. Pick the NX if you want a smaller SUV that is easy to park and uses less fuel in Kampala. Pick the RX if you need more boot space and rear legroom for family travel. For heavy upcountry use look at the 4WD LX instead.
Buy from a dealer with a physical showroom and genuine Japanese paperwork. At Khushi Motors on Ntinda Road you can inspect each Lexus and read its auction sheet in person. Tip: the auction sheet also tells you if a car is a genuine Lexus RX or a Toyota Harrier fitted with Lexus badges.
